From Zechariah 4:6-10

Reading this passage in Zechariah one morning, the Holy Spirit immediately shone His “spotlight” on it and made me aware that it was a song for me to write. The words and the tune came to me as if I was taking dictation; it was done in minutes. I like it because it’s got a catchy tune that makes me want to dance, but I love it because it has the heart of God in it.
The Word Of The Lord Came To Zerubbabel
The Word of the Lord
Came to Zerubbabel, saying
Not by might nor by power
But by My Spirit says
The Lord of Hosts
What are you
Oh mighty mountain
You shall become a plain
Before Zerubbabel
You will be level ground
And he shall bring forth
That blessed holy Cornerstone
Grace, grace be to it
With a shout from Zerubbabel
The Word of the Lord
Came to Zerubbabel, saying
The foundation has been laid
Your hands will finish the work
Then Zerubbabel, you will know
The Lord of Hosts has sent me to you
His eyes roam over the earth
There will be great rejoicing
For the work of Zerubbabel
For who has despised
The day of small things
This is the Word of the Lord
