This one is a lullaby. Sometimes I like to imagine crawling into my Abba’s lap, putting my arms around His neck and kissing His cheek (like I used to with my own father). I think God likes it; I don’t think He considers it irreverent at all. I think the middle verse should be the last – you choose.
Unto This One
Unto this one I will look
To him who is humble and contrite of heart
And who trembles at My word
Unto this one I will look
Then you will see, your heart will be glad
Your bones will flourish like the new grass
The hand of the Lord will be known unto you

You will be nursed and held in My arms
I will console you, for you are My own
